Whenever we have guests at our house, they always ask – without fail – “Who did your landscaping?” In fact, the landscaping is so good that we feel it is the single most important investment we’ve made for our new home. We wanted a water feature and they understood water science and engineering. We had a very difficult and awkward space to work with and they gave us some very creative, exciting, maintenance-free, and affordable options. During the entire process and all the way through the completion and billing, there were no bad surprises – only good surprises. The owner did all of the critical layout and construction features himself and labored for hours over the placement of each individual stone in the water feature. This included all the electricity and plumbing for the water pump and cleverly hiding all the irrigation sprinklers where a drip system was inappropriate. We were even impressed by the way they stabilized the steep earth embankments to prevent movement or unwanted erosion. There was a great deal of openness and trust during the design evolution and the placing of plants. As a bonus, the plants are guaranteed for a year and there is ongoing follow-up supervision. Finally, the completed job was so striking that it not only made the back part of the house enjoyable and useable, but also transformed the rooms that look out on the back and made them a pleasure to be in. In this day and age when many of us rarely feel that we get what we pay for, the total experience of working with Scofield Landscape was a distinctly pleasant and satisfying surprise. We definitely got our money’s worth. And that’s not just our opinion but also that of everyone who comes to visit.
